  Having previously bought a Taylor Wimpey home brand new, we were very pleasantly surprised by Davidsons.
  
  The sales process was very enjoyable and we found them very helpful when potential issues with the sale of our old property created a headache. Throughout, they treated us extremely well and made us feel special.
  
  On moving day, the house was extremely well presented. In fact, when I opened the front door for the first time, the Area Sales Manager was personally inspecting the house to check for cleanliness and presentation.
  
  In the kitchen we found a lovely presentation box with champagne flutes, mugs and goodies. In the fridge was a bottle of Prosecco. Later that afternoon, one of the sales team arrived at our door with a bunch of flowers and a card from all the staff. Then, the Site Manager called round to check on us.
  
  There have been some minor snags, mostly to do with minor bits of finish here and there. I have had to chase for timescales on a couple of bits but mostly, everything has been done within a day or so of reporting and to a good standard. They are even touching in scuffs and scratches that we created when moving in.
  
  While the construction staff are courteous, they do start early - at 7:30am most days. So during the day there is a fair amount of construction noise. They stop at 5pm. On weekends, the estate is very quiet.
  
  Overall, we are delighted with the house, which is beautifully designed and for the most part, extremely well finished. It feels like a quality product, which is unusual for a new build these days.
  
  I am happy to recommend Davidsons with the usual new build provisos. They are certainly a cut above the usual suspects in our experience.
